Metacoxx® Oral Suspension for Cats
Metacoxx® Oral Suspension for Cats is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug and is indicated for the alleviation of pain and inflammation associated with acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders in cats.
Active ingredient
0.5 mg/mL MELOXICAMMetacoxx® Oral Suspension for Cats has:
1mL syringe for accurate dosing.
Slightly sweet tasting liquid to aid compliance.
Dosage & Administration
For oral administration either mixed with food or directly into the mouth.Initial dose: 0.1mg/kg bodyweight (0.2mL/kg) to be given once.
Maintenance dose: 0.05mg/kg bodyweight (0.1mL/kg) to be given once daily.
Duration of therapy is at the discretion of the veterinarian and will depend on the condition being treated and response to therapy.
