CLOMPOZE^® Tablets

For the treatment of stereotypic behaviours (obsessive-compulsive disorders) and as an aid in the treatment of anxiety disorders in dogs. Can also be used as an aid in the treatment of urine spraying in desexed and female cats 3kg and above.

Active Ingredient

Each tablet contains CLOMIPRAMINE HYDROCHLORIDE.

Actions

Clomipramine – the active ingredient in CLOMPOZE^® Tablets – acts by reducing the re-uptake of noradrenaline and serotonin in the central nervous system, thereby prolonging activity.

Indications

For the treatment of stereotypic behaviours (obsessive-compulsive disorders) in dogs such as acral lick dermatitis, excessive grooming and tail chasing. As an aid in the treatment of anxiety disorders in dogs such as destructiveness, excessive vocalisation, and loss of toilet control, associated with separation anxiety. Can also be used as an aid in the treatment of urine spraying in desexed and female cats 3kg and above.

Dosage & Administration

CLOMPOZE^® Tablets are given orally, preferably with food. See flyer for more information and dosage table.

Pack

CLOMPOZE^® Tablets are available in 5mg, 20mg and 80mg strength bottles of 100. The 5mg and 20mg strength tablets are half-scored and the 80mg strength are quarter-scored for dosing flexibility.
